Systems & Process Innovation

  • Tuition Application System: Implemented an automated tuition application system using Workday Extend
  • Post-Open Enrollment Change File Automation: Partnered with HR Technology to create automated change files, replacing manual spreadsheets
  • Position Management Improvements: Enhanced audited vacancy processing to provide accurate, real-time vacancy numbers

  • Open Enrollment & Benefits Fair: Successfully delivered both with streamlined processes
  • $1,500 One-Time Payment: Implemented a one-time payment program to expand benefits offerings

Global Benefits Implementation

  • New Life & Long-Term Disability Providers: Launched benefits tailored to local culture in Qatar (MetLife Worldwide) and Rwanda (Unisure)
  • Qatar Time Off Compliance Project: Implemented campus-wide time off compliance improvements

SECURE 2.0 Legislation Updates

  • New Catch-Up Rules Implemented: Extra catch-up contributions for ages 60–63 effective Jan. 1, 2025
  • Mandatory Roth (2026 Preparation): Ongoing project work to support SECURE 2.0 Roth requirements

Systems, Assessments & Process Improvements

  • Faculty Administrative Assessment: Completed assessment with HR Technology and the Office of the Vice Provost; determined academic appointment enhancements using Workday Extend are feasible
  • Supervisor Hiring and Onboarding Journey: Launched a new Workday journey guiding supervisors through recruiting, hiring and onboarding
  • Successful Department Restructure: Transitioned Student Worker Services and Employee Services teams to Total Rewards

Customer & Client Support

  • ServiceNOW Support: 11,409 tickets
  • Call Center Support: 7,572 calls related to benefits, policies, onboarding and HR support
  • Scotty Chat: 1,753 chat request and 85 live chats
  • Front Desk and I-9 Processing: 1,617 I-9 appointments and 649 walk-ins (since Aug. 1, 2025)
  • Onboarding Sessions: 785 attendees over 49 sessions; 14 one-on-one sessions with executives

Faculty & Talent Support Programs

  • Faculty Orientation: Led HR's inaugural participation in sessions for new faculty and postdocs
  • Executive Order Compliance: Coordinated HR's compliance updates for DEI-related executive orders, including websites, templates, guidelines, policies and training materials

Child Protection & Global Compliance

  • Child Protection Clearances: Processed 2,416 clearances and managed 139 programs involving minors for the 2024–25 academic year
  • International Program Registration: Implemented new registration requirements for 黑料正能量's international campuses and developed new forms aligned with local cultural practices

Cyert Center and Family Care

Cyert Center for Early Education

  • Child Care Management System: Implementing a new system to improve efficiency of business operations and family communication
  • Professional Development: Launched a comprehensive staff development plan to enhance classroom quality
  • Onboarding Excellence: Overhauled the onboarding process to ensure educators are fully prepared
  • Safety and Security: Conducted full security assessments at both sites through partnership with University Police, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity, and Access Control
  • Team Expansion: Onboarded 17 educators, assistants and aides to support growing enrollment

Family Care Concierge Team

  • Increased CareBenefits Utilization: 940 employees enrolled; 10% increase over 2024
  • Increased Access to Lactation Rooms: Strategically relocated lactation pods
  • Expanded Care Options for Graduate Students:created a GSA Family Space pilot program with 43 students/spouses and 62 children using the space; implemented a Graduate Student Child Care Grant
  • Increased Participation in Annual School Options Event
