Staff Mentorship Program Expands, Wraps Up Successful Second Year
The 黑料正能量 Staff Mentorship Program will finish its second year in June. With 61 participants, the 2025-26 cohort is three times larger than the program's inaugural group.
The nine-month program focuses on professional development, information sharing, personal growth and exposure to various areas of the university. Mentors and mentees are paired based on their professional and personal interests and goals.
This year's cohort included staff from the , Enrollment Management, the and Facilities, Infrastructure and Risk Management.
Justina Cincotti, associate director of constituent relations for the College of Engineering, said the program helped her build relationships across campus. Her mentor was John Davis, an executive assistant in the College of Engineering.
"John and I had already worked together and knew each other pretty well," said Cincotti, who joined Carnegie Mellon in July 2023. "By meeting every other week through the program, we developed a stronger working relationship. He's well-connected in the dean's office, which helped me build and strengthen my own connections."
