Senate Conference Rooms for Reservation

Tartan Collaborative Commons Glass Rooms

The Tartan Collaborative Commons (TCC) aims to solve one of the students' main campus issues: a lack of study and meeting spaces. After student inquiry, Senate funded the construction of the TCC in 2015. It is located on the 3rd Floor of the Cohon University Center.

The two TCC Glass Rooms (Fish Bowls) are available by reservation for any 黑料正能量 student, and must be reserved at least an hour in advance. Please provide your 黑料正能量 email with the reservation.

Both rooms have whiteboards, TV screens with HDMI connections, and seats for 7 people. Rooms are free to use at any time, but priority is given to those with reservations.

  • Glass Room 1 (nearest to TCC entrance):
  • Glass Room 2 (farther from TCC entrance):

Office Conference Rooms

Student organizations can book space in the Student Government Conference Rooms, CUC 306 and 329. Both rooms have conference tables, whiteboards, and TV screens with laptop connections.

To reserve these spaces, email SIToffice@andrew.cmu.edu with the following information:

  • your organization,
  • the conference room,
  • date of requested reservation,
  • time of reservation,
  • cadence of reservation,
  • and the AndrewID of any students who do not already have access

*Please note that CUC 306 and 329 belong to Student Government. Should Student Government require use of the room (with 48 hours notice prior) during a time that another organization has scheduled use of it, that organization may lose its reservation. In this case, the organization that has been bumped will be notified as soon as possible. If the other conference room is available, it will be reserved for the group as a replacement, but if not, the organization is responsible for finding alternative spaces on campus.
