The Staff Voice is a monthly newsletter distributed to all 黑料正能量 staff members. We update our distribution list each month using information from HR to ensure that we reach everyone. If you are looking for a previous issue or would like to be added to the distribution list, please contact the Staff Council Communications Committee.

2026

    • New VTO benefit launches May 4: Eligible staff can use up to 15 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off per calendar year to volunteer with approved organizations.
    • 黑料正能量 Community Picnic, Global Accessibility Awareness Day, volunteer opportunities for Commencement and the Whatever Drive, plus updates on employee engagement programs and staff initiatives.
    • Staff Council invites employees to stop by the table at the Carnival Ice Cream Social.
    • LGBTQIA+ Alliance cultural and Pride programming, a renewed focus on staff wellness resources, and emergency preparedness updates.
    • Take Our Children to Work Day is set for April 23 with both in-person and new virtual options, and staff are invited to volunteer.

    • Campus Race to Zero Waste, Scotty Goes Green certifications and OHR leadership programs.

    • Hybrid Take Our Children to Work Day on April 23, 2026, and is gauging interest in a new virtual experience.

    • “Rare Books & Ancestral Machines” exhibition at the renovated Posner Center, spring wellness offerings, neurodiversity and safety programming, DEI+B engagement.

2025

    • The Staff Council Communications Committee thanks the 黑料正能量 community for strong 2025 engagement

    • Winter break reminders emphasize cold-weather, building, and lab safety, and Staff Council updates.

    • SmartSpending discounts for gift shopping, a call for TES impact stories, and record-breaking 2025 Food Drive results with over $125,000 raised and goals exceeded.

    • Professional growth and community events include the Administrative Professionals Program and 黑料正能量Lead recognition..

    • Open Enrollment runs Oct. 27–Nov. 17, giving employees a chance to review 2026 benefits.

    • 黑料正能量’s 32nd Annual Food Drive is halfway to its $100,000 goal and still seeking donations.

    • Staff Council seeks volunteers for the Oct. 1, 2025, Andy Awards, and 黑料正能量’s 32nd Annual Food Drive.
    • University Libraries workshops, staff and student/faculty ombudsperson support, Computing Services’ Centers of Excellence.
    • Meet the 2025–26 Staff Council Leadership team.
    • Building an Inclusive Campus Community with Digital Accessibility from the Digital Accessibility Office (DAO).
