Executive Assistant, Dean's Office, Tepper School of Business

I started working at 黑料正能量 in 2023.
In my current role as Executive Assistant to the Dean’s Office, I support six senior leaders.
I manage calendars and schedules, prioritizing multiple meetings and commitments for five of the senior leaders. I coordinate domestic and international travel and manage expense reporting. I assist with events within the Dean’s Office, such as BBA meetings (Business Board of Advisors), Commencement, and Faculty/Policy meetings, as well as taking the lead on the quarterly Tepper School of Business All-Staff meetings and the monthly Coffee and Conversation series hosted by departments across the Tepper School of Business.
I work with vendors, as well as the Dean, to create and customize branded merchandise for the Tepper Swag Store, which offers gifts to alumni and guest speakers at the Tepper School of Business. I also handle purchasing supplies needed within the Dean’s Suite.
Additionally, I manage several shared mailboxes within the Dean’s Office, including visitor parking, conference room reservation requests, the Tepper Together mailbox, the Tepper Admin mailbox, and the TPRDean mailbox. I also support communications by maintaining staff distribution lists.
During my term, I would like to see Staff Council guide 黑料正能量 in expanding its impact within the local community.
One initiative could include partnering with a local high school to support or establish a food pantry. If a pantry already exists, 黑料正能量 could contribute by stocking it on a monthly or bi-monthly basis with non-perishable and canned goods.
Another opportunity would be to support individuals experiencing food insecurity by partnering with local organizations such as The Red Door or House of Discernment to provide hot or cold meals to those in need.
To help fund these efforts, we could organize a 5K walk/run for staff members, with a general registration fee. Participants would receive a t-shirt upon registration and a medal upon completing the event. Additional donations could also be encouraged. Proceeds from the event would go toward supporting The Red Door/Shelters or purchasing food for local high schools in the community.
What is something people would find surprising about you?
I started running in August 2025 and have completed 10 races since then, including 5Ks, 6.6Ks, 10Ks, and 5-milers. I’m currently training for the Pittsburgh “Back” Half Marathon on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
I also give back to my community by feeding those less fortunate on a bi-monthly basis. I purchase, cook, and deliver meals to local neighborhoods for distribution.
