鈥淚鈥檓 most proud of serving as a non-voting member on the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium鈥檚 Board of Directors. 鈥淭he Tepper School Part-Time Online Hybrid MBA program allowed me to balance career growth with academics while connecting me with an incredible network of people I鈥檓 grateful to now call colleagues and friends. Samuel Lin

鈥淭he achievement I鈥檓 most proud of during business school was launching the Tepper School鈥檚 inaugural four-country Asia Trek across Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, and Japan. Seeing this idea come to life instilled in me the confidence to pursue and lead bold ideas, even when they鈥檙e daunting and complex 鈥 and that has stayed with me throughout my time at the Tepper School.鈥
Amber Lo
Hometown: Singapore
Program: MBA
Future Plans: Adobe Acrobat Product Marketing Team, Community Manager
鈥淚 chose the Tepper School because it treats creativity as something to be operationalized. Coming from an arts-driven background, I wanted an environment where analytical rigor would sharpen creativity rather than suppress it. Carnegie Mellon鈥檚 strength in technology, design, and applied AI made it clear that ideas here are meant to be built, tested, and shipped.鈥
Phrare Teinwan
Hometown: Bangkok, Thailand
Program: MBA
Future Plans: Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Consultant
鈥淚 chose the Tepper School because it combines three things I cared about: strong quantitative rigor, a tight-knit community, and a connection to the broader 黑料正能量 ecosystem. Coming from an engineering background, I wanted an MBA that would further strengthen my analytical and quantitative skills, and the Tepper School offered the kind of rigorous curriculum that helps sharpen those capabilities.鈥
Simon Tener

鈥淭he Tepper School opened the door to a new career path, but the lasting impact comes from the friendships formed and the opportunity to be part of an exceptional community of brilliant minds.鈥
Specialty Masters Graduates
Witt Conger

鈥淚 chose Carnegie Mellon and the Tepper School of Business because of their reputation. The school as a whole and the program is known for its quantitative and technical rigor. Academically, I am very proud of my performance here at the Tepper School and everything I have been able to learn. Extracurricularly and personally, I think the things I am most proud of are the relationships I have built.鈥
Katherine Cornell
Hometown: Saratoga, NY
Program: MS in Business Analytics
Future Plans: Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Analytics Leadership Development Manager
鈥淚n the wise words of Randy Pausch, 鈥榖rick walls are there only to stop the people who don鈥檛 want it badly enough.鈥 At the Tepper School, I learned that the most meaningful progress comes from curiosity, collaboration, community, and the courage to take risks before you feel ready. Stay humble, remain grounded, and fight for what you want. Approach every opportunity with curiosity and hunger.鈥
Justin George
Hometown: Union, NJ
Program: MS in Business Analytics
Future Plans: Bristol Myers Squibb's IT Rotational Development Program
鈥淚 work best with many projects in parallel; the Tepper School gave me the framework to do that with more rigor. During the program I built real systems 鈥 my capstone (Tatsu) was a natural language-to-SQL platform I architected on GCP and demoed live at Anime Boston to ~100 people. I also built OmniScale, a pharmacy inventory optimizer that won a hospital innovation contest, and I co-run a card game company on the side.鈥
Sara Kay
Hometown: Honolulu, HI/Boston, MA
Program: MS in Business Analytics
Future Plans: Continue presenting work shaped by the skills developed in the program, building on the Anime Boston showcase
鈥淚'm most proud of my recent panel presentation at Anime Boston 2026 during Easter weekend, which was a culmination of everything I want to work towards in the future: making data analysis accessible to communities that don't typically see themselves represented in technical spaces, building tools that are genuinely fun to interact with, and finding ways to blend my professional identity with my personal one without apologizing for either.鈥
Mouli Majumder
Hometown: India
Program: MS in Management
Future Plans: Work at the intersection of AI strategy and governance
鈥淏eing selected as a Student Ambassador is the achievement I'm most proud of, not for the title, but for what it represents. Through hosting webinars and one-on-one conversations with prospective students from around the world, I worked to make sure the opportunities the Tepper School offers, which aren't always visible from the outside, were properly communicated. Being able to shape this being in the early stages helping students understand this course and helping them make an important decision is really impactful to me.鈥
Vivek Sriram
Hometown: Morgantown, West Virginia
Program: MS in Business Analytics
Future Plans: Cleveland Guardians, Business Strategy
鈥淚 chose the Tepper School for the opportunity to learn alongside some of the smartest people from around the world and to expand how I approach problem-solving. These past nine months have been some of the most impactful of my life, I鈥檝e learned a tremendous amount and built lifelong friendships and connections along the way.鈥
Bachelor of Science Graduates
听
Olivia Acquaah-Harrison
Hometown: Charlton, MA
Program: B.S. Business Administration
Future Plans: A career in a marketing role contributing to building thoughtful work
鈥淭he biggest lesson I gained from studying at the Tepper School is that every experience, whether it鈥檚 a success or a challenge, is an opportunity to learn. I鈥檝e learned to see every situation as a chance to grow and to stay curious about the world around me. More than anything, the Tepper School has taught me to be a student beyond the classroom, to keep learning, adapting, and carrying those lessons forward in everything I do.鈥
Buckley DeJardin
Hometown: San Gabriel, California
Program: B.S. Business Administration
Future Plans: Bates White Economic Consulting, Economic Consultant
鈥淭he biggest lesson I鈥檝e learned from studying business is that all decisions involve inevitable trade-offs. I鈥檝e enjoyed learning how to identify and quantify those trade-offs, along with evaluating them using rational, risk-adjusted analysis rather than intuition alone.鈥
Valeria Minguela Torres
Hometown: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
Program: B.S. Business Administration
Future Plans: Take a gap year before attending law school
鈥淚 am most proud of my participation in the Initiating Meaningful Pittsburgh and Qatar Ties program where I had the opportunity to travel to Qatar and fully immerse myself in their culture. Through IMPAQT, I explored Qatar while participating in purposeful cross-cultural dialogue that expanded my curiosity and fostered lasting connections. I represented the Pittsburgh campus and helped build community with Qatari students, united by our shared 黑料正能量 identity.鈥
Paige Yu
Hometown: Clarksburg, Maryland
Program: B.S. Business Administration
Future Plans: PwC Strategy & Deals Strategy, Associate
鈥淪tudying business has taught me how important it is to ask the right questions, even when they鈥檙e uncomfortable. In client work, I鈥檝e seen how easy it is for teams to get attached to solutions they鈥檝e already invested in, even when those solutions are more complicated than they need to be. Some of the most impactful moments come from stepping back and asking whether the problem we鈥檙e solving is actually the right one.鈥
