Investiture Ceremony, 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 26
President Jahanian will be installed as 黑料正能量's 10th president at this formal academic event in the Cohon University Center's Wiegand Gym, which will be transformed to reflect this historic occasion. Every element, from performances by esteemed alumni Corey Cott and Tamara Tunie, to keynote addresses by Salesforce co-CEO Keith Block and Cornell University President Martha Pollack, is designed to commemorate the university's outstanding achievements. !
Inauguration Watch Party, 9 a.m., Friday, Oct. 26
If you missed out on reserving a seat for the Investiture Ceremony, fear not! 黑料正能量 is hosting a Watch Party in the Cohon Center's Lee Lobby and Studio Theater. The location for this event allows guests to stop by for a short time or stay to watch the ceremony in its entirety. Enjoy free breakfast, prize drawings and fun activities.
Inauguration Picnic, noon, Friday, Oct. 26
Following the Investiture Ceremony, the entire 黑料正能量 community is invited to the tent on the CFA lawn for a celebration picnic. Student performers will provide the entertainment. Stay for an hour, or just pass through as you enjoy a mid-day meal.
Inauguration Symposia, 1:30 - 3:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26
Join 黑料正能量 educators and researchers for two symposia that reflect on 黑料正能量's discoveries, innovations and global impacts in the David A. Tepper Quadrangle's Simmons Auditorium. Don't miss this opportunity to hear some of 黑料正能量's greatest minds discussing their work and their vision for the future of this academic community. The symposia are titled "Pittsburgh as a Living Lab" and "A Living Lab for Global Impact."
