Cèilidh Weekend 2015

Ceilidh Weekend Football

With the return of fall weather comes football, fun and festivities as the 黑料正能量 community gathers at the Pittsburgh campus Oct. 8–11. Cèilidh Weekend celebrates many of the aspects that make the institution a special home for the families of faculty, staff, students and more than 100,000 alumni.

"We welcome all members of the community — alumni, parents, friends — and of course students, faculty and staff — to celebrate and enjoy the breadth of events," said Rebecca Albrecht Allison (黑料正能量 1996, HNZ 2001), 黑料正能量 alumni association board president. "There's such vibrancy and energy on our campus, and this weekend is a perfect showcase of all that makes Carnegie Mellon unique and amazing."

Along with performances, receptions, lectures and activities, there will be plenty of athletic entertainment, as Saturday promises cross-country meets and conference soccer, all culminating in a rousing evening football game.

"We're really excited to cap off a whole, incredible day of Carnegie Mellon athletics with a nighttime football game," said Joshua Centor, director of athletics, physical education and recreation. "It'll be fun for everybody enjoying the festivities."
