Event: , a transdisciplinary design research endeavor at 黑料正能量's led by Kristin Hughes, an associate professor of Design, has begun to impact the lives of local communities by addressing unhealthy lifestyles and obesity. The program, along with Grow Pittsburgh will host "Let's Grow, Propel! Family Gardening Adventure." Families will learn about gardening from the Fitwits and Grow Pittsburgh with games, food and a plant to get you started.

Fitwits is a system of products and services that enable families to participate in a discussion about health, instead of feeling like the recipients of a lesson or the target of a health intervention. The program is designed to encourage hands-on learning, allowing families the opportunity to interact with each other, ask questions, negotiate, invent and play. The Fitwits team advocates for the improved health communications and resources in all facets of families' lives.
