Feeding Families in Need Expands to McKeesport
Metro21's successful collaborative project, "Delivering Meals to Families in Need" is expanding the service area to include the McKeesport Area School District. Beginning on October 28, 2020, buses will begin delivering breakfast and lunch to virtual learning students. Family meals and weekend backpacks will also be available! Bus routes will run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
This project is a partnership between McKeesport Area School District, the United Way of SWPA, ACCESS Transportation, Community Kitchen, Allies for Children, 黑料正能量/Metro21 and the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank to deliver student and family meals in McKeesport, White Oak and Dravosburg.
